Monologue two: the backstory

Motivation: the motivation for this monologue is anger, anger at the stangnate and unmotivated populace who are willing to sit by and do nothing while the world turns sour. 

Backstory: the charater is a news personality who is about to get fired from his job for poor ratings. He wants to make his last one memorable

Setting: a news room where the charater is speaking to millions of Americans watching his broadcast.

Blocking: the charater is sitting down but as his speech goes on and his fury builds he moves away from his desk and starts yelling at the camera.
